    About this calculator

    Compressor performance is rated at sea-level standard conditions (14.696 PSIA). At higher elevations, the lower ambient pressure means a compressor inhales less air mass per stroke, which reduces effective CFM output and changes the math for SCFM↔ACFM conversion.

    We use the standard barometric formula based on the International Standard Atmosphere up to ~36,000 ft.
