The URAI-DSL variant replaces the conventional oil pump with dual splash lubrication at both gear and drive ends, reducing maintenance and improving reliability. Both shafts are splash-lubricated via shaft-mounted oil slingers (drive end) and Roots' exclusive figure-eight gearbox design (gear end), delivering cooler operation and extended bearing and gear life. Ideal for applications where pump-driven systems are impractical or where cost and simplicity are priorities.
